www.writingbolton.com is a constantly-evolving digital writing map for the town, including video poems of students performing, venues, events, sites of cultural significance, and more. To celebrate its launch, we have two exciting and powerful voices taking to the stage: Hollie McNish, renowned performance poet and author of Plum (Picador, 2017), and Clare Pollard, a Boltonian who has won prizes including the Eric Gregory Award, written for stage and radio, and whose latest collection of poems is Incarnation (Bloodaxe, 2017). Hollie and Clare will be joined by Creative Writing students performing some of their own creative work.
