Event description

Description

"There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.” Aldous Huxley

Let's get together, spend the morning writing in nature, and tap into our creativity and discover more about ourselves through poetry, self-reflective writing and conversation.

The emphasis of this group is on self-discovery and self-improvement.

We meet at selected bespoke cafés and places of interest throughout Central London. We use the venues or environment to start us off and inspire our writing. We will be in Hampstead Heath one of London's best loved green spaces.

No prior knowledge of poetry or expressive writing is required, just a willingness to connect, reflect and experiment with words in a supportive environment.

Venue: Hampstead Heath

A slice of true countryside just a few miles from central London.

Nearest Underground:

Kenwood House lies north of both Gospel Oak and Hampstead Heath on the main line. From either station you could catch the 210 bus to Compton Avenue Kenwood House (Stop E) and from Hampstead Heath main line station, the 268 bus can catch up with the 210, from which you alight at Compton Avenue Kenwood House.

Meeting Place:

We will meet just in front of Kenwood House which is situated in Hampstead heath. Kenwood House is a former stately home, on the northern boundary of Hampstead Heath.
