Writing Dialogue For Games @ Elevate Lowestoft

Visual novels and other narrative games are full of characters to meet - friends, enemies, and everything in between. The best put the player into the moment, using responsive and engaging dialogue to bring the scene to life.

We’ll learn:

• how to create characters with enough depth to be intriguing
• how to create a range of things for the player to say without losing the plot
• how to pace a scene so we can get to know characters as we play

This workshop is part of the Elevate:Lowestoft programme at The Fort in Lowestoft.

Attendance is free, but the tickets are limited. We will ask you to confirm your attendance ahead of the event, so we can move people up from the waitlist as necessary.

About Elevate:Lowestoft

Join in our free workshops and create games from Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February! In these hands-on workshops you will craft digital stories, eye-catching game art, essential game development skills, and connect with games industry professionals.

All participants will receive a full scholarship so you can join free of charge. Lunch will be provided and travel funding (reimbursement of up to £25 in total per participant) is available.
