Dominic Berry is an award-winning poet. He was 2017 Glastonbury Poet in Residence, winner of the 2020 and 2017 Saboteur ‘Best Spoken Word Artist’ award, and has toured his verse across the USA, Canada, India, New Zealand, Australia, South America and mainland Europe. His other awards include winning New York’s Nuyorican Poetry Café Slam, UK Superheroes of Slam and, as of 2025, ten Arts Council England Grants for the Arts awards.

Made possible with support from Healthy Arts and The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players. This workshop takes place on the first floor of the Stables Courtyard, in the Classroom. There is a lift to the first floor, accessible toilets on the ground floor and accessible parking. The workshop is aimed at adults but is suitable for ages 14+ whether you are a beginner or a more experienced writer.

Where do I park?

There are 2 car parks located on School Lane, both with a few accessible spaces.

Where do I pay for parking?

Pay for parking at the end of your stay. Card payment machines located in brick huts on each car park, cash accepted in the Visitor Centre. Unfortunately, our car parks are not part of the Blue Badge Scheme.
