Event description
The third of our fundraising sessions with No Stone Unturned Fundraising - Writing for Impact

About this event

Do you want to write better letters to funders? Are your applications lacking impact? In this session we will explore:

  • How to make your writing clearer and stand out
  • Look at some examples
  • Top tips on what works
  • Common traps people fall into
  • Funders pet peeves

You’ll also have the chance to ask questions, chat with other fundraisers as usual and share your experiences and knowledge.

Aimed at sole fundraisers, start ups and anyone new to fundraising or who would like a refresher.

To get the most out of Lucy’s sessions, it’s worth signing up to all 5 (but not a necessity).

Trainer: Lucy Stone from No Stone Unturned Fundraising, has worked in the Charity sector for over 20 years and has raised £88 million. Lucy specialises in supporting grassroots community organisations in Sussex and arts/ culture sector organisations. She helps them to raise more through trusts and foundations, diversify their income and make better connections with their funders and supporters.

The Zoom link will be sent out to you one week before the meeting.

Booking is through Eventbrite. We generally offer 1 place per organisation and priority will be given to our registered members and partners within the Arun and Chichester areas. For non members and anyone outside the area, if you register for the event/training your booking will be transferred to the waiting list and we will inform you nearer the time if there are spaces available (please note there may be a charge for non member/out of area tickets).

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please de-register on Eventbrite or let us know via email. Our events are normally fully booked so if you let us know you are no longer able to make it we can open your space up to another organisation, who may not otherwise be able to attend.
