The Writing for Publication taster session to be delivered by experts from our Library and Knowledge Service and feature:

  • Blended learning, which provides the flexibility of digital media with traditional classroom activities
  • Flexible and accessible online courses
  • Virtual classrooms
  • Facilitated break-out sessions
  • Virtual resources

Learning outcomes:

Delegates will learn how to structure a paper and how to avoid common pitfalls. The session is interactive and will includes two practical activities.

By the end of this session delegates will have:

  • Discussed the value of writing for publication
  • Explored topics for potential publication
  • Focused on targeting journals
  • Reflected upon writing conventions
  • Considered and understood the processes involved in preparing an article for publication

These courses are free and are open to staff working or affiliated with our Noclor Partner Trusts (Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, East London NHS Foundation Trust, Barnet Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust, West London NHS Trust, Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, the Whittington NHS Trust and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust).
