Writing for Wellbeing - A Restorative Space to Breathe, Reflect and Reset

Writing for Wellbeing - A Restorative Space to Breathe, Reflect and Reset

By Felicia Jones (BSc,Dip)

Overview

The space you need for when you feel overloaded, emotionally tired, full of ideas, worries or thoughts and want to regain balance.

This gentle, welcoming workshop gives you two hours of uninterrupted space simply for you. Space to slow down, space to reconnect and space to express what’s been sitting beneath the surface.

Writing for Wellbeing uses simple, guided writing prompts to help you release stress, calm your mind, and make sense of your thoughts in a safe, supportive environment.

You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need to have anything “figured out.” There’s no pressure to share. Simply come as you are.

“Writing is medicine. It is an appropriate antidote to injury. It is an appropriate companion for any difficult change.” - Julia Cameron

This Workshop Is Perfect For You If You:

❤️‍🩹 Are often busy supporting others but rarely pause for yourself

❤️‍🩹 Hold in a lot emotionally and rarely have time to “download”

❤️‍🩹 Mask the symptoms of stress and “push through” even when you’re tired

❤️‍🩹 Want a gentle creative outlet that supports your mental health

❤️‍🩹 Feel you “have more to say” but don’t know where to start

❤️‍🩹 Want a quiet, nurturing space to reconnect with yourself

What Each Session Offers:

Guided writing prompts to release stress and emotional tension

Lower overwhelm and get thoughts out of your head and onto the page.

Creative exercises that reconnect you with your ideas, joy and imagination

Light, playful activities that help you rediscover your spark.

Grounding techniques you can use any time you feel overloaded

Simple practices you can take back into your daily life.

A calm, supportive space to reflect — without expectation or judgement

Sharing is always optional. You choose how much (or how little) you participate.

Connection with like-minded women

A small, supportive group of 8–10 participants, held safely and gently.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded — with practical tools you can return to any time stress begins to build.

Kind Words from a group member

“Writing for Wellbeing is a workshop where you take time for yourself in a safe space. Although I’ve shared my writing, it’s unnecessary to do so.

I’ve formed new relationships, and I get two hours for me and only me. I leave feeling refreshed and uplifted.
