About

Following on from An introduction to writing for children and Developing middle-grade fiction, the Nottingham Writers' Studio and Paula Rawsthorne bring you Writing for Young Adults.

In this 2-hour workshop, you'll explore the young adult (YA) fiction market, how to make your writing YA focused including creating narratives, situations and characters that young adults can identify with, examples of successful YA writing and tips to develop your own YA story idea.

So, if you're looking for a new challenge, a little stuck with your ideas or you simply wish to build upon your existing knowledge of writing for this audience, this workshop will provide you with the perfect opportunity to learn more about writing for Young Adults.
