The course is designed to help you identify suitable funding opportunities to apply for, what information you should include in your application and how to showcase the impact of your work.
We will discuss how to:
- Explain the need for your project
- Research sources of funding
- Understand what funders are looking for
- Produce and submit a funding application
- Understand common reasons why funding applications are unsuccessful.
Who should attend?
Third sector staff or volunteers with an interest or responsibility for fundraising. It is specifically aimed at anyone new to the process or those who want to refresh their skills.
Please note priority is given to organisations working in Edinburgh.

EVOC is funded to provide support to the third sector in Edinburgh. That means we can provide this training course free of charge to groups and organisations working in the city. People working or volunteering for organisations outside the city are welcome to register, but have to pay a small fee.
