Writing Good Policies & Procedures

Who should attend:

This session is aimed at anyone new to writing policies and procedures or those who would like the latest information on some of the key policy areas.

Overview:

Policies and procedures are an essential part of any organisation and are often needed to meet legal, contractual and/or funding requirements. If you are developing or reviewing policies and procedures within an organisation this introductory session will provide guidance on the latest information and best practice.

• Purpose of policies and procedures
• Best practice in writing policies and procedures
• Overview of common policies

Please note this accredited training is supported by Shropshire Council and managed by the Shropshire Infrastructure Partnership Voluntary & Community Support Team. To support community groups, voluntarily organisations and volunteers within Shropshire only. The cost of this session has been substantially subsided at £15.00 per delegate. Additional training including ‘in person training’ will be offered throughout the year. So please keep looking at our training opportunities which will be available through eventrbrite.

This training will be delivered via Zoom. Once you have successfully booked onto your chosen course. You will be emailed a few days before the training date, to give you the meeting ID and password to join the session

All spaces are limited to two per organisation, however we do offer a waiting list facility. So, if you are unable to attend, please could you let us know as soon as possible via email so we can then offer your place to someone else.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Course places can only be cancelled up to 7 days before the event.
• Refunded course fees will include the full ticket price less the EventBrite Booking fee.
• If we have to cancel the event you will be refunded the full ticket price.
