Writing Love Poems

Writing poetry is a tricky business, but one of the best ways to learn is by reading, examining and being inspired by the work of others!

In this workshop, we'll read some contemporary love poems, and chat about how the form can be used to write sincere (and subversive) poetry about the topic of love and romance. This workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Poet and workshop leader, Leanne Moden, will share some of her favourite love poems, and show you new ways of writing, inspired by existing and published poetry.

This workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. Zoom is a web-based video calling service. In order to access this workshop, you will need an internet connection, and a computer with built-in camera or webcam, and a built-in microphone or speaker. The link to join the workshop will be emailed to you ahead of the session.We want to make these workshops accessible where possible.
