Meeting point at BMX track, Sloughbottom Park What3Words ///riots.warns.thanks
Over the course of the two sessions, we will be tuning into our innate connection with the natural world and the ecosystems around us through inspiring writing activities, accessible to all. By the end of the two workshops, you will feel more confident with using writing as a powerful tool for nature connection, be more attuned to the rich variety of habitat at Sweet Briar Marshes and how we can use our pens and imaginations for deep observation and recording.
First session: Friday 3 October 2pm-4pm (NWT Sweet Briar Marshes)
Second session: Wednesday 15 October, 2pm-4pm (NWT Sweet Briar Marshes)
Note: you are welcome to enjoy these sessions, bookable individually, but attend both if you can!
Before you attend the workshop, you will be sent a document with useful information and if you are under 18 you will be sent a parental consent and personal risk assessment form, which we will need you to fill out and return to us in readiness for the session.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being outside.
A portaloo is available and accessible toilets are located at Sloughbottom Park.
The event is suitable for ages 16-25.
