Writing Through Grief
Overview
THE WORKSHOP
Charlotte will explore with you how free writing can be used to reframe grief in a way that straighforward journalling may not. It will encourage you to focus on the aspects you want to treasure and remember. The session will work through how to use free writing this way and give you time to get to grips with it.
"For each of these aspects, I went into as much detail as I possibly could, using all my senses to ensure I could create and later easily recall how and why I felt the way I did."
You will use all the five senses to recreate feelings and revisit strong emotions as you write, helping you towards processing them.
"Free writing my way through grief helped me process something so unimaginable and difficult to comprehend and, because of this, the importance of writing was entirely reaffirmed."
