Agenda

June – “Beginning Again”

Explore the courage and resistance of starting over—emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. This session helps participants unpack the weight of change and write themselves into new beginnings.

July – “Held and Heavy”

A space to name and release what’s been carried silently—grief, pressure, burdens. This workshop will focus on writing through emotional overwhelm and reclaiming inner stillness.

August – “The Stories We Inherit”

Ancestral echoes, generational patterns, cultural weight. This month invites reflection on what we’ve inherited—and what we choose to carry forward.

September – “In My Own Words”

Reclaiming voice and identity after loss, transition, or erasure. This session affirms the power of self-definition and truth-telling on the page.

October – “Soft Power”

Rest, vulnerability, boundaries, and quiet resilience. This session centres on the strength found in softness, and offers space to write through burnout, recovery, and redefining success.

About this event

Writing Through It” is a guided community writing therapy workshop for adults who are navigating life’s emotional weight, transitions, or past wounds.

Whether you’re healing from something heavy or simply making sense of your now, this monthly space invites you to pause, reflect, and write your way through.

This is not just journaling—it’s expressive, restorative, and transformative writing for the soul.

Frequently asked questions

Are tickets refundable?

All tickets are non-refundable. We kindly ask that you consider your availability before booking. If you're unable to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to a future session (subject to availability).

Do I have to be a writer or avid journaler?

Not at all. You don’t need perfect words, grammar, or writing experience—just a willingness to show up and be present. The focus is on expression and reflection, not performance. Come as you are; the page will meet you there.

Does one ticket purchase include all upcoming sessions?

Tickets are released monthly and must be purchased separately for each session. This allows flexibility for participants and ensures each session is held with fresh intention and care.
