Aims & Objectives:
This one-day course aims to come to the rescue to help you to overcome some of the frustrating problems of writing at work: not knowing where to start, taking too long over tasks, writing too much or not being sure about what style to use.
It helps you to write efficiently and effectively by following a logical approach that helps you to get it right first time. It shows you tips and techniques for getting started quickly, structuring your work, writing clearly and concisely and using grammar and punctuation correctly.
It helps you to think more clearly about your reasons for writing, your readers’ needs and what to put in and what to leave out. It helps you to use an appropriate style and tone and an attractive and logical layout. It helps you to feel more confident in writing persuasive and accurate documents that achieve their aim without constant rewrites.
Who does it help?
The course helps anyone who writes emails, letters, reports or briefs at work.
