Feedback slots are first come, first served so book early to avoid disappointment!

Adding to our programme of regular workouts at the Writers' Gym, this friendly group workshop is the perfect place to hone your writing – and how to get the best out of feedback.

We'll begin with a creative writing warm-up, followed by a writing exercise with tips and techniques on giving and taking feedback on creative work.

After this, FOUR PRE-BOOKED VOLUNTEERS will share up to 2000 words with the group. If you'd like to volunteer for feedback, email thewritersgym@rachelknightley.com as soon as you've booked your place. All participants will receive the material by 3 October. Please read in advance if you can!

If you don't want feedback on your work and just want to enjoy the creative exercises and discussion, that's fine – just book your place as normal. After the readings, feedback and discussion, we'll share another writing exercise and identify writing goals to take forward in the month ahead.
