City or country, home or abroad… location has become very important to crime fiction readers. This workshop considers the role a sense of place can play in a crime novel, how to choose the right location, and some of the techniques for bringing your setting to life.

His books are translated into 16 languages, and are currently in development for a TV series. Nottingham has played an important part in recent books, particularly the latest one, Secrets of Death.
