By ILM - International Learning Movement

Overview

Discover how understanding Qadr transforms how we face life’s tests—balancing destiny, du’a, effort, and trust in Allah’s perfect plan.

Everything that happens — the moments of joy, loss, delay, and relief — is written by Allah. Belief in Qadr (Divine Decree) is one of the pillars of faith, yet it’s often one of the hardest to understand and accept in our daily lives.

In this transformative seminar, Shaykh Dr Abu Ibrahim will help you explore the wisdom behind Allah’s decree — how to find peace when life doesn’t go as planned, how to balance effort and du‘ā, and how to strengthen your īmān through trials and uncertainty.

Discover how trust in Allah’s plan can turn confusion into clarity, fear into faith, and hardship into hope.

*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ ***

Attending With Children: Due to the nature of the seminar, it can be quite frustrating for young children, therefore we advise that you do not attend with children or babies younger than the age of 7 years old. If you do attend with young children of any age, please keep them with you at all times. If your child becomes restless and makes a lot of noise which disturbs other attendees or the teacher, we will regretably have to ask you to leave.

Seating Arrangments: Seating will be segregated.

Seating is on a first come first served basis. As this is a free event, we will need to register more attendees than we can acutally seat in the venue. The reason we need to do this is because at least 2/3 of the people who register to attend free Islamic seminars and events usually drop out and don't attend on the day. If you want to ensure you have a seat at the event, we strongly advise that you turn up on time. Once the venue has reached maximum capacity we will not be able to let you enter, even if you have family or friends inside already.

Food And Refreshments: You are welcome to bring your own food, snacks and drink with you, we will also try to have some available for purchase but can not gaurantee this.

Salah Arrangments: Women can pray in the Maryam Centre and men can pray in the main hall of the East London Mosque. Please do not pray inside the seminar hall.

Fundraising: This event is being organised by the charity ILM (International Learning Movement) in order to support the work they do around the world there will be a short fundraising segment.
