'Defining Embedded Sustainability in the Built Environment - in the heart of the West End'
Carbon improvements to circular economy, ethical supply chain to consolidated schemes, compliance to community, water conservation to West End, health & wellbeing to creative partnerships and collaborative initiatives - an update on embedding sustainability into operational practice at iconic Regent Street. We will cover areas from exemplar to new starter, benchmarking, targets, rocky roads and lessons learnt.
As Head of Sustainability, Julie is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the sustainability strategy across the portfolio with approximately 800 occupiers over 2m sq ft located in 80 properties. She works with the team to deliver commercial, environmental and social improvement and embed and integrate sustainable services into the business, planning and operational maangement of the portfolio. Data and information is measured against targets set within an annual Sustainability Action Plan to meet the client's objectives is tackle climate change, drive environmental value and engage and positively influence customers and local community.
Recent initiatives include the launch of the Regent Street Customer Sustainability Network to provide occupiers with guidance and practical advice to improve their own sustainability.
