Does religion really make you happier? Are superstitious or paranormal beliefs bad for your wellbeing?
This talk will look at the complex relationship between religion, spirituality and psychological wellbeing by drawing on current research and thinking within the psychology of religion. Looking at issues around happiness, satisfaction with life and depression, this talk will explore the way in which religion and spirituality interact with the human psyche, and explore the place of no religious belief for individuals' wellbeing.
