WSoA's Stage 1 (CT1-CT4) Professionalism Simulation Day
Overview
The Welsh School of Anaesthesia are inviting you to the hugely popular interactive Professionalism Sim Day focussing on some of the clinical and non-technical challenges encountered in Anaesthesia. Simulated sessions include dealing with complexity and uncertainty, and effective team working in a pressurised environment.
The day will focus on challenging clinical scenarios faced by anaesthetists-in-training and addresses the RCoA 2021 Curriculum requirements for Domain 1 of the Generic Professional Capabilities (Professional Behaviours and Communication). This will enable all Stage 1 anaesthetics residents to evidence this domain in their portfolios, and so is designed for CT1, CT2, CT3 & CT4 residents.
The course will take place annually, and trainees should should aim to have attended the day once during Stage 1 & evidence this in their LLP for review at ARCP.
Refreshments and lunch are provided.
The day will take place in the Grange University Hospital's Education Centre, Simulation Suite, and is FREE to all Stage 1 (CT1, CT2, CT3 & CT4) Anaesthetic residents in Wales.
After attending the day you will receive a certificate for your portfolio.
Book now to reserve your place!
