WSUK CAD Masterclass - North East
Event Information
Description
The WorldSkills UK Mechanical Engineering CAD competition is one of the most popular national skills competitions, held annually. It engages students by using a mixture of cutting-edge technology and solid engineering design principles.
The Education and Training Foundation has commissioned a new programme of one day CPD courses through WorldSkills UK, which have been developed by CAD Skills UK with the support of Autodesk. The Masterclass is delivered by WorldSkills UK Associates who explain what is expected of a student entering a WorldSkills UK CAD competition. The full day course focuses on a previous national test piece and will cover all aspects of the task, including step by step instructions on how to complete it using Autodesk Inventor.
Suitable for teaching professionals and employers, participants will also be supported with access to online support materials after the event to continue their progress, as well as comprehensive classroom materials which can be used to help implement WorldSkills UK projects in the classroom. The session will also give the attendees an introduction to what is new in Autodesk Inventor 2017.
Lunch and refreshments included.
This Masterclass is for experienced users of 3D CAD and is not an introductory course.
