Kit : Suitable running kit (waterproof may be required), trail shoes are highly recommended, food & water
Meeting at the bus layby at the junction of Mytham Bridge and Station Road (near Bamford train station), we'll join the Derwent Valley Way at Shatton Lane and follow it for 2.5 miles to Leadmill Bridge. From here we'll pass Hazelford Hall as we ascend onto Eyam Moor passing the stone circle on our way to Sir William Hill Trig with great views over much of the dark peak. We'll then head north and drop down into Bretton Clough and follow the valley westward for Grange Farm. Ascending once more we'll pass the gliding club by Abney Moor and follow the Brough Lane bridleway back down to Shatton and the garden centre.
