Following early retirement, Ian has written a number of books covering less well-known aspects of Northumberland's history, including the periods of both WW1 and WW2. Many of these were published through his imprint Wanney Books. This talk uncovers the fascinating history of Northumberland's Auxiliary Units, previously covered in Ian's book - Uncovering the Story of Northumberland’s Underground Resistance: the Auxiliary Units of WW2.
