In partnership with GCHQ, the programme is based on the concept of Dragon’s Den for budding young entrepreneurs.
Aimed at encouraging young people to think outside of the box, think creatively with innovative ideas and develop their communication and presentation skills, this programme is aimed specifically for Year 9 students.
Working in small teams to devise a new product or service and with guidance from business leaders across the county, young people develop a marketing campaign, a price and a pitch for their innovation and present it to a panel of judges. The judges hear the pitch, ask questions, give feedback and select a winner from the programme.
The programme is run in school for the whole year group and the winning team is entered into the final that takes place at GCHQ. If you would like to mentor students to help them in their groups, please register now.
