Wytham Woods, climate and biodiversity through art in various media
Event Information
About this Event
Charlotte has created a wonderful set of art works, inspired by the styles and approaches of artists Simon Palmer, John Nash and Arthur Rackham. The result is a body of work that should enthuse all art students and teachers to get out into nature.
Charlotte will show us the trees and landscapes in the Woods that she used as her starting points, and the resulting art works in different media.
We hope this session brings some new ideas on how we can use art in school and elsewhere to discuss the climate and nature emergencies we face, and how we can help each other to look at and appreciate the natural world.
