Our Five Organisations are coming together to hold a hackathon, allowing technical teams to spend 1.5days developing a solution based on the data we hold.

Why should I attend?

This is a great opportunity to work a problem in areas never considered before. This is your chance to collaborate with digital makers from across the five organisations to develop innovative solutions that could help explore areas of collaboration and or improve data usage. The brief is open the only stipulation is that you incorporate some data from one or preferably more of the organisations. Along with putting your skills to the test, you’ll get to create, network and share knowledge with a wide range of digital peers.

*The Workshops are intended as pre-hack events please do not sign up to the workshops unless you are attending the full event*

What are we planning?

Hack pre events 16th May 2022**

Red Hat Introduction to Containers 10:00 – 11:00am (optional)

Red Hat OpenShift Developer Workshop 14:00 – 17:00pm (suggested)

Team formations via slack - x-govhack.slack.com This is a free slack channel set up especially for this event so you can use it to set up your own channels to collaborate with your teams.

Day one - 26th May 2022**

Start hacking - 09:00 - 17:30

2x 15mins Check Points to see how you're getting on - 12:15 & 17:15

Day two - 27th May 2022**

Hacking in your teams / Preparing your pitches - 09:00 - 12:00

Lunch - 12:00 - 13:00

Pitches - 13:00 - 14:30 (pitches will roughly be 7 minutes each)

Judging - 14:30 - 15:00

Winners announced - 15:00 - 15:30
