Pro Centre and Hasselblad UK Ltd are pleased to announce a FREE Hands-On Event introducing the ground-breaking Hasselblad X1D: The world’s first compact, mirrorless digital medium format camera!
Get your hands-on the new X1D system with a number of cameras, lenses and accessories available on the day, with a portrait shoot set up for your test shots.
Staff members from Pro Centre and Hasselblad UK Ltd will be on hand to demonstrate equipment and support your shooting activity.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Being London, public transport is recommended. The nearest tube stations are Old Street on the Northern Line and Hoxton on the Overground Line. The nearest mainline station is Liverpool Street.
Do I need to attend for the whole day?
No. The event is run as a drop-in day, meaning that you can drop-in anytime throughout the day to have a play with the kit. If you allocate at least 1 hour for your visit, as this will give you sufficient time to have a good play with the kit, although you can of course stay for as long as you wish. The event will close and start to pack-up at 4.00pm, so with this in mind, last entry would ideally be 3.00pm to 3.30pm, so to still allow time for some test shots before the event closes.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You just need to bring yourself as a minimum, although you are welcome to bring your own camera if wanting to compare the quality against the Hasselblad systems. However, please note that all images taken at the event are subject to the usage limitations detailed below, regardless of the camera they were taken on.
What can/can't I do with the test images?
As a demo event, all the shoot set-ups provided are for the purposes of test shots only. Therefore, any images taken away are for your own review purposes only and they cannot be used commercially or as part of a portfolio to represent your work. This is due to the shoots having been set up by the event organisers and possible usage limitations of the models booked for the event.
Images can be published on social media, but only when accompanied with a credit and explanation of how the image was shot as part of a Pro Centre / Hasselblad demonstration event, and also with a credit to any model featured.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please contact Pro Centre by phone on 020 7729 8822 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
As a free event, we ask for some personal contact details for each person that attends. Therefore, we ask that each person registers themselves for the event rather than attending using someone else's registration.
