Description

This Hands-on workshop aims at presenting the fundamentals of cross platform mobile development (iOS/Android) using Xamarin. Several aspects will be tackled such as cross platform mobile architecture, Xamarin Forms frameworks, the MVVM pattern and the mark up language XAML, web services and local data management. Your host of the day will be Steve Degosserie. A sandwich break is foreseen :-)

Audience :

Developers with the following skills:

- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and of C#

- Experience in HTML/CSS or WPF/Silverlight is a plus.

Bring your own computer equipped with Visual Studio 2015 and Xamarin at the first session. Also, make sure your device has the required specifications!

Objectives :

At the end of this Xamarin introductory workshop, participants will be able to:

- Grasp the Xamarin architecture & Xamarin Forms framework

- Grasp cross platform mobile architectures
