XPDay 2015
Event Information
Description
Once again, XTC brings you the practitioners' event XPDay.
This year we have a new venue and continuing with the 2014 format based on Open Space. We will start with a kick-off session at 18:30 on Monday evening to get to know each other and build an initial programme. The sessions start on Tuesday at 09:30. Finally, we will move on to our regular eXtreme Tuesday Club at the Bishop's Finger from around 18:30.
As well as Open Space, XPDay will include some prepared technical sessions and experience reports.
Space is limited, book early. Last year the evnt sold out in days!
XPDay is underwritten by the eXtreme Tuesday Club, but it still costs money to run. Following the lead from the Citcon Conference, we’re asking for optional contributions. We suggest £70.00.
XPDay is “by practitioners, for practitioners”, rather than a training event, so we're asking everyone to write up a few sentences about their experience of Agile development. We're not looking for breakthrough insights. We find that everyone has something to say, something that surprised them, if they stop to think about it. We might use these reports to help seed the topics for discussion. We're especially interested in hearing about failures, although successes are useful too. You'll see the structure on the registration page.
