Event description

Description

Xylem and Phloem curate inspiring monthly events combining yoga, brunch and creative workshops around London. Launched by fitness and floristry duo Tash Richards and Freddy Owen as a venture to bring space and creativity into your working month.

Graduating from Stretch Studio in East London, Tash teaches a dynamic vinyasa class focusing on elegant flows and tuning into the breath. Known for her observant eye to posture and form, and warming meditations, Tash’s class is the perfect start for a day with XP.

Joining us from London’s Turning Earth ceramic studio is Bisila Noha. Inspired by the textures of nature her pieces tell a story and reflect the unpredictability of the natural world. Basila will be bringing her years of expertise and experience to XP’s inaugural ceramics workshop. Under her attentive gaze everyone will develop the skills needed for their own individual pinch or coiled pot.

Sophie Gordon of Dust Granola will be creating an exclusive lunch for Xylem and Phloem. Focusing on seasonal produce, Sophie will create nourishing salad bowls comprising of her signature grain and pulse medleys to fuel your creativity.

All in the beautiful Blank 100 space in De Beauvoir.

Workshop includes:

* An hour and a half of yoga and meditation. Suitable for all levels, beginners are welcome and mats are provided.

* An indulgent brunch created exclusively for XP by Sophie Gordon with kombucha provided by Jarr Kombucha.

* A two and a half hour ceramics class with all materials provided. Note, all ceramics will be taken after the workshop to be glazed and fired and will be ready for collection in the following 2-3 weeks. Delivery is available at an additional cost.
