Event description

Description

Although a great deal of research has been done on probiotics, much remains still to be learned. Scientific understanding of probiotics and their potential for preventing and treating health conditions is at an early stage and it is expected to grow as they are of a great interest for scientists, healthcare professions and the public. If you are interested in what exactly probiotics are and what is the evidence behind their use in practice look no further! We are delighted to invite you to a 2 hour workshop presented by Dr Louise Wilson RD and Victoria Avery ANutr, from the Yakult Science Team, who will explain all you would like to know about probiotics. Open to all LMS students at University of Hertfordshire. Handouts and CPD certificates will be provided, as well as coffee, tea and biscuits.

Free for members of the Nutrition and Dietetics Society. £2 for non members.
