In association with Lighthouse Yarns, Whitehead, the Yarnfolk Festival of Wool 2018 is the ultimate creative day out for fibre enthusiasts as well as individuals, friends, and families to enjoy a fun day out.
The focus of Yarnfolk Wool Festival is on interactive workshops for all ages, free demonstrations, and beautiful handcrafted quality yarns and products. With more than 40+ exhibitors, this event is an absolute must for your summer calendar!
It will be held on Saturday 4th August 2018 across five venues in Whitehead's centre from 10am - 5pm. These are:
Methodist Church Hall, Edward Road
Lighthouse Yarns, Edward Road
Church of Ireland Parochial Hall, Edward Road
Whitehead Community Centre, Balmoral Avenue
Lourdes Pastoral Care Centre, Victoria Avenue
Online General Admission Tickets: £7 (available from Mon 18 June - 4th Aug 2018) (pre-booking highly recommended so you have more shopping and less time queuing into the first venue!)
Workshop Tickets inc General Admission: £35 for 2-hour workshops and £45 for 3-hour workshops inc all materials (Available online from Sun 3rd June) Plus Tea/Coffee and Buns
Children's workshop: £12 for 1 hour 15mins inc all materials and light refreshments
General Admission for children under sixteen: Free
