Her debut novel The Coin is an exceptional story of a young Palestinian woman’s unraveling as she teaches at a New York middle school, gets caught up in a Birkin resale scheme, and struggles to gain control over her body and mind. Based in Paris, Yasmin was recently awarded the prestigious 2025 Dylan Thomas Prize.
Sheena Patel is a writer and filmmaker, based in London. She is part of the 4 BROWN GIRLS WHO WRITE collective and her debut novel I'm a Fan won the Discover Book of the Year at the British Book Awards 2023.
