In an inaugural conference, YCW and King’s College Lau China Institute will bring together leading China experts and emerging Young China Watchers on a single platform to analyse China’s medium to long-term impact on the world.

Focused on bridging the current gap in understanding on China’s domestic political development, economics and financial sector liberalisation, and foreign policies, the ultimate aim for the conference is to create a new platform for the next generation of China watchers and to help foster the conversation in London about Beijing’s thinking.
