This free event is aimed at students currently in Year 12 who have an interest in studying at Imperial. The event will kick off with a taster bioengineering lecture from an Imperial academic, Dr Jenna Stevens-Smith, giving you an insight into what it’s like to study at Imperial. This will be followed by a talk about writing an effective personal statement, covering what Admissions Tutors are looking for. The event will end with a student panel who will talk about their student experience and answer your questions about student life.

**Students can attend alone (without a teacher or parent) if there are less than 5 of you and you have permission from your school. In order to reach more schools, there is currently a limit of 30 tickets per school (including BOTH pupils & accompanying teachers; 1 ticket admits 1 person) and tickets will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Schools are kindly asked to have only one staff member register the whole group. Places on our events are free and usually oversubscribed, so please only book tickets if you are definitely able to commit. We expect schools to get all their relevant trip permissions in advance, and if permission has not been obtained, to cancel by at least 4 weeks in advance of the event (only book tickets for less than 4 weeks if you can commit). For any school groups who cancel 10 or more tickets with less than 4 weeks' notice or who fail to attend on the day (for any reason given), a letter will be sent to your Head Teacher and it will have an effect on any future bookings with us. Please email us if you have any questions or require a copy of our risk assessment (which covers critical incidents)**
