Session 1: 11 November, 3.30-5.30pm

Remote CPD session designed to support Y6 teachers early in the year in understanding the expectations of the end of KS2 assessments in reading and writing. Consideration will also be given to practical strategies to support children in meeting the requirements

Session 2: 26 January, 3.30-5.30pm

Remote CPD session designed to support Y6 teachers in understanding the requirements for securing greater depth in writing

Session 3: Thursday 19 May, 1-4 pm

In-person CPD session focused on moderating writing at KS2. The session is designed to support teachers in making secure judgements against the teacher assessment framework. In-person session, location tbc.

Registered attendees will be sent the link to join the Zoom meeting via an Eventbrite email. Please check your junk mail if this does not come through. Eventbrite reminders will also be sent 48 hours and 2 hours before the event.

Attendees can also access supporting documentation via the Eventbrite page, either in advance or after the session, as well as being asked to gather any materials beforehand, so that they can join in practically with parts of the session.

ODST is pleased to offer teachers and teaching assistants valuable online CPD workshops in English and Mathematics, with Julie Sargent and Nathan Crook.

These short interactive sessions will take place in real time using Zoom software. Offering quick but effective CPD, the workshops will include modelling under a visualiser and live discussion, questions and answers, as well as slides.
