An exciting opportunity for Year 6 students and their families
We’re thrilled to invite you to our Year 6 Open Evening—an inspiring event where you can discover everything Twynham School has to offer. Whether you’re already planning to join us or still deciding, this is the perfect chance to explore our school and see what makes it such a special place.
There will be two opportunities to hear from the Headteacher and key staff in the Main Hall at 5.45pm and 6.45pm where we’ll share our vision, values and what you can expect from life at Twynham.
Our friendly students and staff will guide you around the site, and you’ll get the chance to immerse yourself in a range of exciting, hands-on subject activities. Try your hand at explosive science experiments, get creative with art and design technology, code a computer game, or perform on stage in our drama and music spaces. Dive into new languages with French and Spanish, explore different cultures, craft a piece of imaginative writing, or challenge yourself in sport. There’s something for every interest and passion.
You’ll also hear about our amazing extra-curricular offer—from joining clubs and sports teams, to representing your House, joining the Scholars Programme, taking on leadership roles or going on unforgettable residential trips.
Please note: Onsite parking is limited, so please arrive in good time to allow for local parking.
