Event description

Description

If you are planning to go into Industry and are currently searching for a placement, or have secured a placement for the next academic year, then you will need to attend the compulsory Health and Safety session that is run by the University.

This session is a compulsory aspect of the Year in Industry scheme and no student is able to start a placement in industry until this session has been completed. The session will be run by the Universities Health and Safety officer, Ron Knuszka and our Year in Industry lecturers; Paul Lindsay and Sam Rolland.

This will be taking place in the Great Hall room 049 from 12-1:30pm on Wednesday 3rd May. This is already scheduled in as a the drop in session for EG-233, but if for any reason you are unable to attend, you will need to inform k.m.jervis@swansea.ac.uk as soon as possible, so that an alternative session can be arranged.

Attendance will be monitored and we would encourage any student (even if you haven't yet confirmed a placement) to attend this session.
