Desertscene are pleased to announce that Year of the Goat are bringing their uncompromising brand of metal to the Underworld in Feb.
Year of the Goat's tight metal musicianship knows no bounds; their latest album, last year's The Unspeakable, seamlessly blended NWOBHM, doom, prog and even finds space to mix in retro edges of late 70s metal along the way. Of course, with the tinge of occult the band possesses, comparisons are also drawn with their fellow countrymen Ghost. Which is never a bad thing
Joining them for the show are fellow Swedes, The Order of Israfel, who, fronted by current Horisont and ex-Church of Misery guitarist Tom Sutton, bring the doom in spades. Also on the bill are sludgy Norwegians Tombstones to kick off the evening in suitably brutal fashion. So if a Nordic night of heavy sounds your thing, book your tickets today.
