This training session will look into equality, diversity and inclusion, and how it can be reached in your organisation and everyday life.
About this event
The Young Ealing Foundation is running a training session for members and partners in Ealing on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The session will be run in partnership with Balance Out Living, who have significant expertise in this area. The overall aim of the session is to provide attendees with an awareness and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion.
The learning objectives will be as follows:
- Understand what equality, diversity and inclusion means, and why it is important
- Articulate the harm which perceptions and stereotypes, and prejudice and discrimination, can do
- Be aware of unconscious bias and the impact this has on behaviours
- Understand your role and responsibilities in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion
- Know how to treat others with respect and offer everyone fair access to opportunities
- How to identify what cannot be seen and engage accordingly
