We will work with the energy of the full moon through meditation, yin yoga and guided journaling, calling in everything we want to manifest for the next lunar month and releasing anything we wish to leave behind.
What is Yin Yoga
In a Yin practice, we hold each pose for between 1-5 minutes, allowing the body time and space to open softly. Yin is a practice of yielding, allowing and nourishing; slowing down and being with sensation. Yin Yoga is simple, but simple does not mean easy.
While a vinyasa practice works with our muscular ‘yang’ structures, Yin works in a more subtle realm. Accessing the deeper tissues and networks of the body.
This class is a chance to hold and be held. All levels are welcome.
What to bring
Wear the comfiest clothes you have, pyjamas are welcome (and encouraged).
Bring layers or a blanket to help you feel cocooned.
A journal or paper & a pen
Any other special items, like crystals or treasured things
All ticket charges will go towards buying eqipment for the class. Our regular classes are every Thursday at 6pm, with In Present Company.
