About this event
Friday nights are usually about collapsing on the sofa, scrolling on your phone, or reaching for a glass of wine after a long week. But what if you could end your week in a way that actually restores you and leaves you feeling lighter, calmer, and ready to enjoy your weekend to the fullest?
That’s what Yin Yoga on a Friday evening is all about.
This is a slow, soothing, 90-minute class designed to release the tension you’ve been carrying through the week — in your shoulders, your hips, your back, and your mind. We use long-held, floor-based poses, supported by props like cushions and blankets, to create space in the body and stillness in the mind. You don’t need flexibility or experience, just a willingness to stop, breathe, and allow yourself to soften.
Think of it as hitting the reset button before the weekend begins. You’ll leave class feeling:
- Calm and centred, instead of frazzled and drained
- Spacious and open in your body
- Clear-headed and grounded, ready to spend your weekend how you truly want to
This is your Friday night ritual for self-care, rest, and renewal.
What to bring:
- A yoga mat if you have one (spares available)
- Two blankets
- Cushions or pillows (the firmer, the better!)
- Anything else that helps you feel cosy and supported
All are welcome — whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. This is your time to let go, recharge, and start your weekend feeling like yourself again.
Classes are £8. You can reserve your spot by booking a 'free' ticket here, then either bring cash to class, or message me for bank details if you'd prefer to pay via bank transfer.
About Your Teacher
Hi, I’m Esther. I’m a wellbeing coach, and yoga and meditation teacher, with a passion for helping people slow down and reconnect with themselves. I’ve been teaching for several years and draw on a wide range of practices to create classes that are accessible, nurturing, and supportive.
For me, yoga isn’t about perfect poses or flexibility. It’s about finding calm in a busy world, building resilience, and creating space for yourself. I bring warmth, humour, and a down-to-earth approach to my classes, so you can feel comfortable and supported, whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
My Yin Yoga classes are about much more than stretching. They’re about giving yourself permission to pause, breathe, and let go, so you leave feeling restored in body and mind.
