YLG Scotland are excited to be hosting the nominations party for the 2026 Carnegie Medals!
As a reminder, there are two medals awarded: one for writing and one for illustration. Eligibility criteria can be found on the Carnegie website.
If you would like to nominate a book, please contact me via admin@cilips.org.uk (Subject: Carnegie nomination) by close of play on Monday 22nd September.
All nominators will get one minute to make their case at the nominations party and we'll vote as a group on the titles we want to put forward for the prizes. Don't forget, if you can't make the nominations party, you can still nominate as an individual member of CILIP - find more information here.
