YLPN: Health & Wellbeing
Monday, 21 May 2012 from 10:00 to 13:00 (BST)
A look across the board at changes in the Health Service and how this will effect young people. We are keen to look at the issues of access to health services and how health and related services are promoted to young people. We also hope to hear from participation workers in the mental health and drug and alcohol fields and learn about how they are working with young people in these areas.
The Young Londoners Participation Network (YLPN) is a network for all practitioners working with young people in London regardless of their sector or specialism. It is coordinated by a partnership of London Youth and the Greater London Authority. Both organisations strongly champion Children’s and Young People’s participation, as well as supporting the needs and development of participation workers across the Capital.
The YLPN meets face-to-face at quarterly meetings hosted at City Hall. The intention of these meetings is to provide a space for those supporting children and young people’s participation to share practice, to network, and to find out about current consultation and engagement opportunities available.
Please note: By signing up to attend to this event you will automatically be added to the YLPN monthly ebulletin. You can unsubscribe at any time.
