Description

The Young Member (YM) showcase is a unique opportunity for young professionals to present their work in CIGRE Paris Session 2018. In the first event in 2016, 22 young professionals from 15 countries attended the Paris session and presented their work to leading experts from all around the world.

The UK representatives will be selected through a presentation competition.Successful candidates will have the chance to receive free conference tickets to the CIGRE Paris Session 2018 and potentially a bursary for travelling.

Limited places available so register now for a day of interesting presentations and lab tours! (National Graphene Institute, High Voltage Lab, Real Time Digital Simulation Lab and Energy Storage Lab)


A) Refreshments and Networking (MSS Building, Room C16): 9:30am - 9:45am

B) Introduction to CIGRE, NGN and Young Member Showcase (MSS Building, Room C16): 9:45am - 10:00am

C) Presentation Competition (MSS Building, Room C16): 10:00am - 12:30pm

(10 minutes presentation, 3 minutes Q&A, 2 minutes changeover)
