Event description
The 4th MBA Young Marine Biologist Summit, will be a virtual event, including live presentations Q&A & panel sessions. Open to all!

About this Event

This November, join fellow marine biology enthusiasts and professionals from around the world in a unique online gathering!

The Marine Biological Association organises an annual summit as an opportunity for young people (Up to 18) with an interest in marine biological science to meet professional marine scientists and students for inspiration and ideas, but also to share their own research and marine science activities.

This year's annual YMB summit will be a little different to usual! The event will take place over 2 days from 10:30 - 15:00 UK time each day.

The event is open to anyone from anywhere in the world, including non-members, but we hope that when you see the amazing work we do and opportunities we provide that you will consider joining us! Presentations are aimed at 13-18 year audience, but should include something for everyone.

We have secured a line up of 20+ inspiring speakers of all ages from across the globe. These are currently being announced across our social media platforms (@thembauk) and website!

We are aware that this amount of screen time may cause problems for some, so have incorporated regular breaks throughout and keeping presentations short.

Please register here to book your place and we will send you relevant joining instructions, including links and log in details for the Zoom Webinar that we will be using.

For speaker announcements and further information, visit our website and see below!
