Event description
Would you like to train to be a yoga teacher with The Yoga Collective?

About this Event

**Early Bird offer ( pay in full by 31st May 2020) £1995**

Easy payment plan available.

The Yoga Collective was established by friends Clare Whitehouse and Lynny Jennings, between them having almost 50 years teaching experience. Clare is the Course Director and Senior yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals and has been delivering and assessing yoga teacher training for a national training provider for over 5 years. The studio was a lifelong dream realised in 2016, as the business became more successful, larger premises were required and a relocation to the heart of Lichfield city centre materialised in 2018. It was always a part of the long-term plan for the studio to develop a teacher training programme and establish a training academy.

This location has afforded the studio excellent public transport links, cheap and abundant car parking, with numerous places to stay and eat. The dedicated yoga studio is in a grade 2 listed building with 2 studios, therapy rooms, changing and shower facilities and a coffee lounge. It is from this dedicated studio that a wide variety of courses and workshops have been hosted and delivered.

This 200 hour foundation course will be delivered over 11 weekends, 9 hours each day. * 100% attendance is required if you wish to attend this course. *

This course is accredited by The Yoga Alliance Professionals .

The teachers have a wealth of knowledge and experience. In addition to being experienced yoga instructors, all staff hold teaching qualifications and are fully qualified assessors, having worked as tutors for some of the country’s leading training providers. All styles of learning are catered for and encouragement will be given to those who may not have studied recently. The academy prides itself on having teachers who combine the skills of teaching, alongside being facilitators of learning to a very high standard.

We ask that you have practised yoga for a minimum of 2 years, although you do not need to be an advanced practitioner, all we ask is that you have a broad understanding of a general yoga practice.

We believe that becoming a yoga teacher is a huge investment in time and money and requires dedication, discipline and commitment. It is due to this philosophy that this course is limited to only 10 students, prior to being accepted, our course director will contact you for an informal interview to ensure that this is the right course for you and you are the right student for the academy.
