This webinar invites you to explore how mindful movement, breath awareness, and calming routines can support young children’s overall well-being, self-regulation, and readiness to learn.
In alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), this session will show how yoga and holistic practices can contribute meaningfully to several key areas of learning and development, particularly:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED): supporting self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience
- Physical Development: building strength, balance, coordination, and motor control through purposeful movement
- Communication and Language: encouraging listening, turn-taking, and expressive language in calming, focused contexts
We’ll explore simple, age-appropriate yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness routines that can be seamlessly woven into the early years day—indoors or outdoors, with or without equipment. You’ll leave with practical strategies to support children’s emotional and physical health, as well as your own well-being as an educator.
Let’s take a deep breath, stretch, and begin our journey into holistic early years practice.
Please note you will receive an email with the Zoom link before the event.
