Description

This full day session is designed to integrate the two practices of yoga and movement coaching for runners. The overall aims are to reduce injury, increase efficiency in your running to allow you to enjoy your hobby and practice for life!

The first session is yoga/movement based. We introduce the idea of balance, breath and some 'take home' yoga type sequences to help you. The sequences can be easily adapted for all types and ages of runners. 'yoga adapts to the person' not the other way around/

The Running session comprises drills and running movements but with a focus on linking what the yoga does to support a running practice. The level of intensity is carried into the running to try and get participants to 'feel' different and tune into their body whilst running. There is a real focus on establishing bodysensing, good feeling with ground and a deep commitment to establishing a personal practice.

The sessions will involve video, drills, mini repeats,yoga typesequences and a strong focus on breathing techniques. Plenty of time for Q and A over the whole day.

Each runner will receive video edit and voice over of their running and key points for practice plus some suggested yoga type work.
